Sheryl underwood is an American actress, comedian and television host most well-known for her work as The Talk's daytime co-host. Born in Arkansas She was raised at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has a family that has had a lot of difficulties. She was a child of trouble, caring for her ailing sister Frankie. When she was a child, she had a difficult relationship between her parents. Sheryl claims that her mom once stabbed at her father for being too close. Sheryl joined the military after her graduation from college. Her love for comedy was stronger. She was the first female winner of the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career in 1992 when she was a regular performer during the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of Oh Drama! Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started making appearances in The Talk as co-host. She also has portrayed fictional characters in shows such as Bulworth and Nikki, as well as Beauty Shop.
