Walker was born in 1976 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, United States of America. Walker is an American citizen of African descendance. She is the daughter of Harvey Welker a Native American father, and Julie Welker an African-American mother. Her mother works as an agent and her father works as a civil engineer. Walker received her schooling at Germantown Friends School located in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood, graduating in 1994. She then went on to Harvard College where she earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998. Welker has been happily married for more than 20 years with John Hughes who is a well known marketing director of Merck Philadelphia. John and Sheila have two children. They began to have an affair with one other. John Her husband, who is four years younger than her. It was going great and they decided to stay in touch.
