Sheryl Underwood is an American television personality and comedian, is most well-known as presenter on The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl was born in Arkansas and grew up at Little Rock, Atwater, as well as Atwater. Sheryl is from an extended family with many issues. Sheryl spent most of her youth taking care of her sister Frankie with polio. As a teenager, she experienced an uneasy relationship with her mom. Sheryl claims that her mom was once brutally stabbed by her father over getting too close. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from the college. She was interested in comedy. In 1989, she became the first female to make it to the top in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992, she made her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. The show has also featured her as host on The Talk since 2011. She's appeared in fictitious shows such as Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
