Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, who is an actor as well as a producer, director and educator, playwright and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of the British father and English-Turkish Cypriot mother. When she was a child, she was featured in a variety of commercials.
